Really you have a privacy policy? Yes, I do. Creating this page was a joy, loved it so much.

Who I am

My website address is: https://allardhansma.com. This is a personal website without commercial benefits or use.

What (personal) data I collect and why I collect it

Cookies

Not vanilla, chocolate, crunchy cookies. In general not the ones we eat.

I collect certain data through cookies and similar technologies (e.g. web beacons, tags, device identifiers). Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information (for Google Analytics for example aka as performance cookies). This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. I register your interaction with my website to improve my website, stories, images and content in general.

You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Keep in mind that the data collected via Cookies can not be tracked back (at least I do not know how, yet) to an individual.

I do not use targeting cookies, just yet!

Contact forms

If you send me a message via the contact-form the information is stored in my personal e-mailbox as well as in the Website database. I will retain this personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on allardhansma.com may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Web pushnotifications via OneSignal

If you approve that I send you webbrowser pushnotifications OneSignal stores your IP-adress, browser and time of (un)subscribing and interaction with the service (in other words, how often do you click my push notifications). This information is used by me to send you better push notifications (in other words, I test images to make sure the most people click the notification so I get more visitors/readers).

Best regards,

Allard Hansma, don’t like what you read? Just contact me.
